Lowered guys - Have wheel/tire questions
Hi All,
I'm new to the forum, but have been trolling for a while. I've been working on my 1996 F150 2WD Regular cab/short box for about 3 months now, getting near the end of paint (plasti-dip). Added some pics for you guys. My issue:
I'm looking to go with a 20" rim and tire package
Here's my thing. I've been searching here in Canada for a 20" wheel and tire package to fit the 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern since I bought the truck. I can go to a wheel shop but it'll cost anywhere between 2500-3000k. So I'm looking at adapters with a used set of 20" rims and tires from some local boards. There's lots of options for under 1k but I have questions:
I know that's a lot for my first post! Thanks guys!

- I've lowered the truck with the DJM kit 3/5
- I still have the stock 15s, which are 235/75/15 currently (28.8 inches diameter)

- What's the maximum size of rim width/sidewall height that will fit without rubbing issues?
- What offset & backspacing do I need for a 20x9? Will 20x10 fit?
- These aren't hub centric are they? (Please see pics)
- The current measurements for the rims are 28.8 inches total diameter. If I get that number up a bit, does it close the gap between the top of the wheel and the fender?
- Adapters. If I get adapters that change the bolt pattern, and they're 1.5 inches thick, does that mean my backspacing increases by 1.5 inches? So if I had 4" of space previously, I now have 5.5? (Needing a rim with a positive offset?)
I know that's a lot for my first post! Thanks guys!
