What SHOULD I START WITH!!

I just bought a 93 f150 and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for some pipes i want it to purr but its a v-6! any help would be awesome...any performance ideas would be awesome

V-6's can purr. Not to sure about any aftermarket kits for your year. But, by splitting the exhaust to a dual, removing the resonator and then putting on a Magnaflow or Gibson muffler, you'll hear the difference. I would suggest going to a custom exhaust shop and seeing what they have and can do for you. See if their is a Gibson cat back system...I had one on my 92 Explorer that had a V-6 and it was a nice throaty exhaust.

Thank you very much I am For It I was wondering Now I dont want It to sound like a bunch of punk kids that put a hole in there muffler I just want that classic sound. You say you would go with the Gibson?

I second the recommendation of going to an exhaust shop. They should be able to install a muffler that sounds exactly the way you want.

Gibson, Magnaflow or Flowmaster all have performance mufflers that will give you a growl and not make your rig sound like a ricer or a car with a bad muffler.
