Hi I have searched the Internet repeatedly for a set of long tube headers to fit my 97 f 150 4.6 4x4. I was wondering if anyone had tried using a set specified for the 5.4. My truck is a 5 speed manual. So it may give me a little more room past the bell housing. I don't care about the plumbing after the collectors. I can always work that out. I am currently running stock manifolds with duals with a H pipe. I am considering long tubes with an X pipe. Any input would be greatly appreciated before I order.
