1997 f150XL 4.2 v6
I own a 1997 ford f-150 4.2l v6
Out if no where I went to start it one morning and put int he key turned and all I heard was one small click and nothing else. I took my battery in and had it tested p, it was bad and I replaced it, but then when trying to restart it..the same thing. So I took off the starter and took it in to be tested and it as well was shot, so I replaced it. Got in excited to start it up and the same exact thing. Does anyone have any ideas? Need so,e help |
When voltage issues occur, they can take out lots of things. Check your starter regulator and replace then check all your grounds - chassis, battery and engine.

Either the battery has gone dead or it could be an ground problem too.
