I have a 5.4 2v that falls flat only when warm. Has about 20k miles on a reman motor. Computer wont always through codes but when it does there too many and seem unrelated at this time. codes: fuel sender open circuit, pats system, theft dected, key transponder, #6 & 7 miss fire. Maf sensor, bank 1 o2 sensor.... corrective steps tanken, replace o2. 6&7 coils replaced, cleaned maf. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

 

Did you pinch any wires when putting the new motor in? Did you replaced the motor with the same year and size of the old one?

 

The motor swap was done a year before having this problem. Although this is what it did before I lost the original. Motor is same year and size. No changes.

 

If this is doing the same as it was before you changed your engine, then i suspect your ECM is bad and probably needs to be replaced.

 

yea, thats what i was leaning to, ill start there and see what happens
