hard starting some;? mornings not all, like yesterday it had to crank along time 30seconds before starting, but this morning just a touch of the key and bang she was going? don't get it?? help

 

When it's hard to start how long of time has passed since the last time it ran? I'm thinking fuel delivery...pump,pressure regulator, filter.

 

sometimes everyday, than sometimes it won't be run for a couple of days, changed the pump this past summer pressure was 30psi now its 40 seems to have helped some changed filter all so my mech and I are thinking about the fuel reg.

 

The regulator has a check valve in it or there is one in-line. If the check valve is bad, you will loose the static pressure in the line and it will take the pump much longer to build the line pressure up to where the fuel is pumping through the injectors.
