Just bought a 97 f150 and its starting out in 2nd gear. It shift up from 2nd fine through all gears without any slipping. Reverse is good as well. Even when I put the shift lever in 1 it doesn't Go into first gear I'm wondering if this could be a shift solonoiod or bad valve body usually if you lose first it slips or acts like its in neutral but its not it just starts off in 2nd has anyone else came across this issue? Any input would be appriciated. Thanks guys
