Default Clock Spring/ Grinding noise

I have a 2003 F150 Lariat 4x4 5.4l, I think my clock spring is bad, not sure. My cruise does not work, When I push the on button and the cruise button the horn blows. I have replaced the cruise control release switch, the cruise switch, and the Speed control Sensor.

I want to try a junk yard before buying a new one, the only thing I could find in the junkyard was a 1998 Ford Expedition 4.2 4x4, all the f150 did not have cruise control. Will the clock spring I pulled of the Expedition work on my truck?

I also would like to know if there is any ideas on my about my other problem. I was having grinding noise when I started from a dead stop and making a turn, so I replaced both cv shafts, new hubs, new rotors new brake pads.( all brand new parts not from a junk yard) It only happens once the truck warms up. When I start from a dead stop and go straight it does not make that grinding noise only at low speeds making turn especially right turn.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
