Default Engine Options

New to the forum, excited to get started with my next F150.

I recently found a 1998 roller, already lifted. Question I have is what kind of engine options do I have? Looking for something with more power than the stock 4.6L, but not totally against putting another one in the truck.

This is going to be a truck I look to have fun in, but will still need to get me to work when it snows. Not worried about gas mileage.

I'm calling the owner tomorrow to get more info on the truck, so I'm not sure if it has the trans and only needs an engine or if I'll be searching for both.

Right now, just looking for engine options that will bolt up to the stock trans.

Thanks and look forward to learning more.

There can be serious mods you can do, but if you just wanna go for the basics, you can do is change the ECU, Sparkplugs to something high performance and even air filter , cold intake. Things like that.
