instrument lights went out

instrument lights went out
I have a 2000 f250 and a 2003 f150 both lost instrument cluster lights.blown fuse replaced fuse,blew again tried new headlight switch and still blow fuse.the only lights not working are the instrument cluster dome and tailights still work.Is there a module or something that would cause this?
