Leaf Spring Swap 99 F-150 XLT 2wd extended cab
 

Hi all I just bought a pull behind camp trailer and my 99 2wd pulls it ok but I need to stiffen up the rear end because my truck is bouncing all over the place. I have looked into Add a leaf as well as helper spring options including air bags. I also found a 99 F-250 in a junk yard with good rear leaf springs which i can pull both springs off for about 20 bucks a peice.
My question is will the F-250 spring swap over to my truck without much headache or should i continue to look at helper spring options? I want to do this as cheap as possable and if i can swap the shackles and springs without much trouble i would almost prefer to do that.
