Default quick upgrades

Hey yall. Well I bought the K&N 70 intake system and installed it. Sounds nice, really aggressive. What else would be a quick upgrade to increase performance? I was hoping to get some better gas mileage from the intake, but I dont seem to have noticed a difference. Would I need to buy a whole new exhaust system, or could I just buy a y-pipe attachment and make a dual pipe look with the stock muffler? Thanks in advance!

You'll see improvements when you increase your exhaust diameter and eliminate the back pressure. You should increase the diameter from the cat-converter back and no less than 3" diameter. Use a low restrictions muffler like a Flowmasters or a Magnaflow. You can buy a total after market cat-back kit for most vehicles...you might want to try that route and do the work yourself and save the labor cost from having a total custom system built by a muffler shop.
