Default Spark plugs

113,000 on my 1999 f-150 2w drive V-6. I had the front wheel off and the plugs look alittle ruff. I was told that the are peanut plugs and are good for 100,000 miles. I also understand they are hard to remove. I do most of my work myself and was wondering if there are any tips on removing them without them breaking.
If they break, what do you have to do to remove what's left?
What is left?
Thanks in advance
John

Spray some penetrating oil in each plug area and let it sit over night. They should come out without a problem in the morning.
