Trailer Wiring (excursion related). Ugg

Been doing battle with the truck and trailer. Rewired the complete trailer and the driver side for whatever reason doesnt work. I mean the kit is soooo plug and play and we followed it to the T, to the extent of pulling off the ground and ensuring its even grounded better.
The light itself works, ran power and it works fine. I am guessing the issue has to be stemming from my truck. So, i hope this help in my quest for working trailer lights. lol Figured i had better start saving documentation so that when the time comes, i feel kinda prepared. lol https://www.f150-forums.com/attachme...7&d=1303303070 https://www.f150-forums.com/attachme...8&d=1303303854 1 guys config Current configuration at connections truck white-trailer white truck yellow-trailer yellow truck brown/white stripe-trailer brown truck orange-trailer red truck green-trailer green truck blue-trailer black truck black/green stripe-put a plastic cap on it |

Brake lights work Left Turn Works Right Turn works DRL do not. Regarding the wiring setup below, this is trailer wiring being discussed, I havent touched or looked at anything on the truck. So this is a wiring kit for rear lights and a plug for the front of the trailer. The plug is consider A) and the wiring kit B) A)Connect Plug below into truck yellow green white brown (not wired to anything..?.. when plugged into running truck, no power to it) https://www.f150-forums.com/attachme...9&d=1303317651 B) trailer wiring wired into A) above yellow to yellow green to green yellow brown / green brown & white to white A) white to white Alll of that has gotten me Brake lights work Left Turn Works Right Turn works |

I fought with my wiring last year on the truck, I never really did figure it out, cleaned a bunch of connections and then it started to work again, not even hooking up the trailer just take a volt meter or test light to eliminate the trailer variable.
Ill include the wiring diagram for the F150. |
I can say for certain that mine is NOT done correct, but I do have some lights. LOL
Likely need to take it to someone who knows what they are really doing. LOL |
Rick, wish you were closer. I could wire it up for you. I don't use a schematic though, just a test light and meter.
