I have a 07 f150 xl reg cab... i just purchased it used... it is a bone stock truck and has no a/c... i was wondering if anyone could tell me how much this would run me to add a/c to this truck and if anyone has a diy?

You'll need the ac compressor, evaporator, coil, air box, belts, clutch assembly, a pulley or two, HVAC controller and possibly a new wiring harness to make it all work. All $$ and loads of time and a good understanding of what the heck you'd be getting yourself into so you can get the job done. IMO - not worth the time or effort.

I helped install an aftermarket kit once. Never again.

junk yard will be you best bet to find all the pieces you need
might even need a bracket to hold a/c compressor i havent looked at mine to see if it bolts str8 to the block or not

What is a 2007 F150 running in the lines, is it some sort of synthetic freeon ?
