all power windows stopped working 2007 f 150

2007 F150 Super crew w/5.4 Not 4 wheel.

New to this forum and hope someone can help.
Out of the clear blue all 4 power windows decided to stop working. What is even stranger is when I push the driver's side window buttons (any of them) an indicator light for the heated mirrow appears on the dash.

I have checked the 30 amp fuse in the Central Junction Box and have also swapped R02 & R03 relays hoping that might be the problem but nothing works.

I also check the master switch voltage on the drives door and found 13 volts on the light blue & black wire.

sort of at a loss at this point. Any ideas out there.

One good thing is they stopped in the up position, it's 7 degree's F. without the wind chill factor.. LOL

Thanks in advance
Gary

Check the wires in the rubber boots as the pass from the pillar into the door. You might have a ground when the door is closed. Also, make sure all switched operate correctly.

Color of Ground wire on Drivers side master switch

I saw on another site that someone had a similar problem. He stated that the black wire going from the post to the door was broken. I moved the boot away but could not see any problem but everything is tight and not much room to investigate.
Does anyone out there know if that wire could be a ground?? Also is there a way to test it??

I took apart the master switch and there is a black wire going to one of the terminals in the power window lock switch. This switch allows the windows to only be opened by the drivers master switch buttons. (safety function for kids I guess)..:happysad:

Kevin was right on... I had lost the ground going to the master window switch panel. The break was somewhere in the boot/harness at the drivers side door hinge. Rather then tracing it I made a simple pigtail , tapped into the black (ground) wire at the master window switch and ran it to a door bolt with was just below the armrest. Very simple to correct.
I have also read on other forums that Ford has had a problem with this..

Lets see now,, my 2007 F150 has paint blistering on the aluminum hood (corrosion), Chrome wheels flaking, window washer lines constantly freezing, power window harness breaks, factory installed tow package harness breaks. Fords engineers can't get paid enough... LOL

Oh & I see starting 2015 all the body parts will now be aluminum. Do you think I'd ever buy anothe rFord product......

2007 F150 window won't work no power at the breaker

Hello Folks brand new to the forum, just looking thru this thread and didnt' see the problem I"m having, none of my windows work, I found a broken wire in the door jamb repaired it but I don't get any power off the 30a circuit breaker. Just wondering what triggers the relay to provide power to the circuit breaker?? Can anyone help? Somone told me the door latch triggers the relay but when I close the door I still have no power at the circuit breaker
