flashing red light on dash 07 F150

On my 2007 F-150 on the dash, left side, close to the windshield there is a small flashing red light, what is it? I just recently bought this truck and this morning while still dark I noticed the light blinking. Can't find what's it for. Thank you.

Security light lets other know the anti-theft is activated.

You do have a remote locking right? Then it is that. It will be on when you lock the car, or driving the car. Other times when it is unlocked it should not blink.
