Replacing Fuel Filter

I am replacing the fuel filter in my brothers 2004 with the 4.2L Heritage V6.
I am having trouble finding out which relay is the fuel pump relay, I know where the box is under the hood, I admit I have yet to look at it yet though due to working all week.
Anybody have a pic of the relay, or a way to identify it when I see it?

William does he have the owners manual in the truck? If so, it should be listed under fuses /relay in owners manual.

Giggles,, this is my brother I am talking about, ha ha
He may have it, but it being where it should be are another story.
I think he said it was a old highway work truck...
I'll do the job when the truck is totally cold, there should be a bit less pressure, so I am hoping, if not I have safety gear, gloves, glasses, a towel and a catch pan.

I'll look under the hood first, I seen one video on a diff year truck have the relay and fuel filter fuse both under there.

I also have a odd safety on the fuel line that comes from the tank, it is white and I think one I pull out, at least I hope that is how it comes out, as I sold my fuel line repair tool a long time ago, lol

Thanks for responding man, hope all is well!

I thought I seen a post here somewhere linking all the Ford owners manuals.

The 2002 4.2L had the same motor right?

I cannot find anything that says this is from a 4.2L Heritage V6 , ut I think this XLT from 2002 has the 4.2L, I know some had 4.6L V8's

I went ahead and got a old towel and disconnected the fuel filter, since the motor was cold there was no real pressure, and very little gas came out.
Got it replaced, and no leaks..
