i was told by the auto part store that ceramic pads are the best for keeping down the dust.

I installed ceramic pads on front end and it would chatter bad for about 300 miles if I had to get on them hard. drove easy until they seated in but now they are very quiet and pull down smooth and fast. one plus I have driven them 4,000 miles and have not seen any brake dust.
