17" tire vs 18" tire changover
Greetings:
I have a 2010 f150 stx 4x2 that needs winter tires. First, I have an option to get a new set of Hankook tires on 17" wheels 235/75/17 and take off my 265/60/18 tires for the winter. Other then the speedo slowing up a bit , are there any other concerns I should have.
If this is not correct, what type of snow tires are best for NH winters. I have been told directional and I have been told heavy lug on/off road. I very much appreciate your replies. Thanks

Not a huge difference in the wheel size. This will show some of the changes you will experience.
As far as type of tire...directional is not a real issue IMO. But, siping can help and heavy lugs on/off road will help.
