Default Has anyone lowered their F 150 2 wheel drive

I'm thinking of replacing my current truck with a new 2012/2013 F 150 2 wheel drive and ECOBOOST

If this comes about it will be equipped to pull my 24' enclosed car hauler. My guess the most weight I have pulled is around 9,000 lbs, but that is a guess with car content and trailer weight

So will the Eco boost pull it OK?

Now the lowering part. My wife has medical condition and we are both getting older. The new 2 wheel drive vehicles sit up like a 4 wheel drive, I want to bring it down to earth. There is one kit that they claim will lower the front 2 " and the rear 4"

I would really like to see a picture and have a measurement of the running board at the front doors on a super crew.

Thanks

Larry

Your towing capacity is going to be based on axle ratio, but they boast a max of 11,300 pounds with the 3.73 axle.
