Default 2010 F-150 AC Problems

I have a 2010 F-150 XLT Super Crew with a 5.4 liter. The AC does not blow cold. The dealer said it checked out fine but you have to run the AC on max and it still does not get cold. Any help would be great. It is out of warranty.

Thanks.

You may need to clean the evaporator coil for the AC unit. You can buy a commercially made product made just for that, or use Simple Green or Simple Green d Pro 3 which is antifungal and anitbacterial. Soak the evaporator and let it sit for awhile, then wash with clean water. The evaporator box has a drain hole in it, so all the water and cleaner will drain out - unless of course the drain hose is clogged.

Did you ever get your AC problem fixed, I had the same problem and it was a 50$ piece that cost about 500$ to install.
