1989 XL f-150 for sale: I hate to sell but I have to. I've been working on/driving this truck for the last 5 years. Recently the engine started to develop a rod knock; faced with the prospect of a rebuild, the wife pointed out that we need to save up for a truck with rear doors since my is growing rapidly. Sooo...110,000 miles, 2WD, 5 spd, 300 cid six-cylinder engine, PS, PB, fuel injection.One rusty wheel well, but I have two patch panels waiting, one small hole behind the drivers side of the seat (doesn't go into the cab mount) solid frame, hitch, new alt., starter, clutch, clutch line, u joints,computer, battery, muffler, front and rear fuel tanks, front end aligned, etc. Doors and tailgate open and close smoothly like they should. My plan was to fix the rust and paint the truck this summer, but then the engine acted up. Kills me, it was running greatuntil then! $500, make an easy project or even a (gasp) parts truck.
