'88 5.0L AOD 2WD: Vehicle speed sensor replace: Transmission fluid gush?
I have a 1988 F150 with 5.0L engine and 2WD and AOD transmission.
I want to replace the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) in the rear end of the transmission. Is this easy to do? Do I need to worry about transmission fluid gushing out of the transmission when I remove the old VSS? The Haynes manual seems to say nothing about replacing the VSS.
