power steering has become hard to use . fluid is good, scanner does not pick up on anything at all . any advice?

 

Sounds like the pump might need replacing.

 

i think i found the problem, for you people with hard steering, check the universal joint on the steering wheel shaft., min is rusty, i used penetrating oil and 10/30 oil and it corrected my steering problem,might have to change the joint down the road a bit, but saved my money right now. hope this might help some people.

 

Good info Robert. That's always something to look at, but you usually feel or hear them first.

 

since i oiled and did a good lube on the joint , i have had no steering issues at all. thought you guys out there would like to know
