I just bought a 1992 F150 Flairside and the passenger power window will not go up or down. I went to pick and pull bought another motor and its still not working.

The fuse is fine. The drivers door window works great any suggestions?

The truck has 2 gas tanks and the front tank pump has died. When you switch it to the front tank the truck shudders and dies. I am assuming that its not getting fuel at this point. Does anyone know a short cut for a fuel pump replacement? Does not look like its going to be a fun job dropping the tank.

Need to verify power to the switch for the window and then integrity of the wires to the motor.

Sounds like you need to replace the fuel pump in the front tank. There is no short cut.

 

I agree I had exact same problem with my passenger window, thought it was motor. Turned out power wire was deteriorated between door and cab. $5 roll of wire....works perfect now i hav an extra motor......91 f150.
