Oil pressure changing
A while back I noticed the oil pressure gauge was not holding steady. Some times it would be normal, and then it would drop off to nearly zero. Then climb back up. Engine wasn't making any odd noises, so I figured I had a bad sending unit. Looked up the part and found 2 totally different sensors listed. One with a plug, the other with a threaded rod that a clip is pushed on to. So I climbed in to the engine bay to locate the sensor and figure out which one I had. I have the threaded rod style. While down there I wiggled the clip around a bit. Now the oil pressure holds steady. Guess I didn't need a new sensor, it was just a little dirty. Now those are the fixes I like.
