Howdy! I just bought a 2007 F150 from a ford dealer. when I got into it i noticed it smelled funky, like previous owner smoked (cigarettes). sales guy said, no worry, we'll have the guys shampoo it for ya... well, it now smells tootie frootie. but still funky.

Question: Is there a cab air filter that can be replaced? Smells especially when AC is on.

Smoke carpets are best cleaned with vinegar and water. The truck will smell like salad for a couple days but the smell will stay gone.

 

Go to a professional detail shop and ask for an ozone treatment. Also, have the air ducts steamed.
