The news for small-pickup fans keeps getting better. Autoblog has [url=http://www.autoblog.com/2011/10/26/new-ford-ranger-becomes-first-pickup-to-earn-five-star-euro-ncap/#aol-comments]posted a video[/irl] of the global 2012 Ford Ranger's most recent crash tests conducted by Euro NCAP, Europe's vehicle safety agency. The new Ranger not only earned the highest scores of any pickup truck, but it also received the highest ratings Euro NCAP has ever awarded for passenger protection.

Ford will equip European Rangers with standard side curtain airbags, side thorax airbags and knee airbags in addition to the front airbags.
