Dies when going into reverse or drive 4.9L
Truck runs great when sitting disappointment when I put it in reverse disappoint when I put it into drive slow to recoup RPM at stopping
I've done a full tune up new distributor new throttle position sensor new map sensor new water pump thermostat O2 sensor both catalytic converters and still no joy the truck has been in the family since new and has always had some sort of electrical problems I've even tried a new computer no dice I had a rebuilt on the transmission which is flawed I have changed the fuel pressure regulator I can't seem to get the truck to run the way it was meant to run
It starting to cost me more now it needs a new solenoid which was replaced last year and a new starter replaced a few years ago and let's not get started on the fuel system Ford in their infinite wisdom with put in line check valves yeah I have most of that cramped off just so fuel goes back to its correct fuel tank I was driving the truck during the summer with some issues but it's got worse during the cooler winter time and keep in mind I'm in Louisiana it doesn't get really cold any ideas help would be most appreciative I know I'm new here but not new to the Ford truck series
