Default Western-style swing away mirrors

My current mirrors are the Western-style swing away which vibrate so badly even after tightening them down. My second issue is rust that is starting to form around the mounting holes. So I bought a pair of these mirrors to replace my current mirror set up.

Now the problem that I see is that the mounting holes don't match up. Anyway these are my current options:

a.) replace both doors with the mirrors I like
b.) replace the mirrors with these old style Ranger mirrors and plug the bottom mounting holes

c.) replace the current Western-style with newer ones.

What do you guys think??

you could wire wheel the rust off and then paint and prime with some duplicolor matching your factory paint scheme number. The vibration could maybe of been remedied with rubber washers. Its hard to say because im not there.

As far as using the other mirrors, you could swap doors from a doner vehicle but it might be a pain to line them up. Or you could weld up the old holes and drill new ones for the new mirrors.

Its all about how much work you want to put in. I would have just fixed the old mirrors and maybe repainted them.
