My 98 f150 4.2 61,841 miles want start after sitting for a couple of days I can spray starting fluid in the air intake and it will run until the starting fluid runs out, I disconected the battery and let it sit for 20min then conected it back the fuel pump primed and it started then a few days later I went to crank the truck it cranked and ran for about 4 seconds then kinda made a loud thud under the hood and wouldnt start , I cant hear the fuel pump making any fuss, all I hear is the clicking under the hood it will turn over but want run unless I spray starting fluid in the air intake is it the fuel pump?98 f150 want run the fuel pump is not running I disconnected the neg- battery cable and reconneected it did'nt start then I disconnected both pos and neg cable and reconnected battery then turned the key a few times then waited three minutes and the pump primed and ran like a charm does anyone have a clue ? I switched the relays and they all clicked
