Hi I'm new to the forum. I have an ironic situation sort of. I was given a 2wd 5.4 Triton f150 from 2000 when i turned 16 and have since grown attached to my truck. I now have fully wrapped it in camo and it is blacked out 100%. However, it is 2wd, which defeats the purpose of the camo as i always get stuck when hunting. So i have begun a cab and body swap onto a 98 f150 4x4 which i picked up for $500. Anyways, i would like some advice from some more senior members and anyone who could possibly lend advice on this. I have already completed removing the cab from the donor truck and am in the process of removing the bed and motor. I really would appreciate any advice or a response from someone who has done this before perhaps.

 

I would think that the electronic's will be a nightmare. The 2000 has pats and the 98 dont. And the pcm is are differnt.
