Thanks! I'm gonna end up taking the "skid" plate off, and spraying it with bed liner. It has a small rust spot starting (already) and its been on not even 2 weeks yet. Salty winters up here are brutal!

That's a great idea. Make certain you use some good rust inhibitor and clean the plate up really good before you spray on the bedliner - then it will last and not rot under the liner. Don't forget to throw some pictures up!
