I have an 2003 F150 and have an issue with the starter not disengaging. I fried a starter last week because I couldn't get the battery disconnected in time. The engine has a valve cover leak so I thought if oil go on the starter it would cause this. I replaced the starter this weekend but the issue is still occurring. Any ideas on where I can look? I am wondering if its in ignition module in the steering column.
