1 Attachment(s)
Our 06 f150 gets around 18mpg on freeway , Just wondering what the rest of you are getting ,Our truck is stock no hop ups , We have about 60k on it also ,Hope this helps ,So if I can get better mileage, without buying a ton of stuff, Robert
I think I get 12, but mine is a 1990, I would hope a newer truck would be a little better.
IMO 18 is pretty good if you ask me. I never got over 16 stock or modified. How fast do you travel?
I'm getting between 15MPG and 16MPG combination highway/city driving with my '05
I haven't figured it out yet, I'll fill up later today and have an answer for you. I really don't want to see how bad it is lol.

My all time worst was just over 10mpg, last fill up. 95% in town, short trips, not letting it warm up all the way, winter gas, etc.
Generally 12-13. If it's all highway, 14ish. |
I get about 16-18 mpg. I basically fill up once a week.
Sounds like me. I'm gettin 15 in city, and have gotten 17 on highway.
We took ours back to dealer and had them check it last year they said there puter said that ours 19.3 well the best we have seen is 18 ,wife drives most the time she has a lighter foot than me but she runs the speed limit,,Robert
i get between 14-15 doing 110 km/h (68 mph)
I get 14 city and 16-17 highway
Well, I figured out my last tank... 18.1L/100km. Not sure what that works out to be in MGP, but I really don't want to know either lol.

Does it make you guys jealous I get 13+ MPG in the city hauling 2,500 lbs. with a 6.7L diesel? Haha, it's surprising how heavy F-150's are.

Yeah, im sure i get around 15 TOPS usually. probably less, although when i was back in Florida and was driving 25 miles to work every day all highway, i got a little over 500 miles to one tank.. That was the only time i have been able to do that.. Ill see what I get in August when I get back from afghanistan and drive thet ruck from Iowa to Florida. should get pretty good.. although the 35's arnt going to help haha.. maybe the custom tunes from PHP will though?!

not sure what size my tank is.. Its the reallye xpensive one to fill up that never seems to fill up haha
Most I've ever gotten is like 420ish, I can put in almost 30 gallons when the low fuel message is on.
yeah, i remember the first time i drove to florida from iowa, I seemed to get really good mileage.. anywheres from 400-480ish a tank.. July I drove my truck back up to Iowa I had the truck full with stuff, and was pulling a uhaul trailer.. Yeah, didnt get more than 350 per tank lol.
This is one thing i have checked.I have never let it go past 1/2 tank.....cause i DO NOT want to know how much it will cost to fill from empty, seeing it cost me roughly 60 bucks, depending on the day of the price,to fill it from half to full!!!!
But i average close to 150 kilometers on a half a tank in my '06 F-150. |

You do know it doesn't matter if you fill up half a tank or a full tank, your still using the same amount of fuel? Ouch to 150km to a half tank. I get almost 300, I think you may need to look into a tuneup, thats some pretty crappy mileage

I would actually imagine you would use more fuel since its hauling more weight. Its probably minuscule though. I do understand the reasoning behind it though

But anyways,i fill her up weekly regardless if i use a quarter tank or half.Undr half scares me LOL!! |
hopefully the new updates helps her get a lil better mileage! one thing that makes a huge difference is air pressure.. Blew my mind how much the air pressure in your tires will throw off the mileage

Maybe I'll have to check my air pressures, I've been getting about 250-280km to a half tank. Sean |
