Default 2010 F150 XLT, 40,000 Klm

Our truck is bogging down intermittently. When it happens it is quite severe. When it starts you can feel the truck bog down then go back to normal, back and forth for over an hour sometimes. Only when you are cruising at a constant speed. If you accellerate, the truck still has lots of power. And the RPM's never fluctuate when the issue is happening. the tach remains steady. NO warning lights ever come on. On the way home, this problem happend for the last hour of our trip. We thought we were going to have to be towed home but we made it, thank goodness.

Ford is running some tests but said not to expect any answers since the issue is not happening today and because the warning lights don't come on, there will be no information available from the tests. We use this vehicle for weekend trips to see family etc and don't feel comfortable not knowing what the issue is. Has anyone else had this issue. We'd appreciate any information you can provide.
