Default 2011 Ecoboost Air Ride

I just traded my 2004 lincoln navigator for a 2011 ecoboost supercrew 4x4 6.5 trailer tow option. On my lincoln it had a full air ride. the nav sat low until you put it in 4x4 then it lifted 2to 3 inches . That is the only thing i miss about my nav. I was wondering if any one has tried to do a airbag kit at all 4 corners and if there would be any mpg increase in lowering the truck like this?

Lowering alone wont necessarily increases your MPG. However; if you also add in aerodynamic ground effects, etc. you could possibly increase it.

if you lowered it enough, and stayed reasonable with what you do. You may see 1-2 mpg increase. But remember, you drive a brick, it wasnt built for mpgs. And since you in an Eco, your going to get better as long as you keep your foot out of it. The air ride, may be a good idea, but research into it more before you decide to do it.

Not worth the hassle in my opinion. Interesting idea though.
