Thanks for your suggestion Dan! However, if you look at your "normal" example, the electrodes are not eroded, so there is very
little mileage on that plug. "Normal" combustion deposits will accumulate over time, which is what you are seeing on my plugs, with 103K miles.

This is the reason the longer you run the 2004-2007 5.4L, the more carbon will build, increasing the probability of seizing and breaking.

I change my plugs every year. I'm not one for keeping plugs in for years and years. I work on a lot of engines, and I've seen some ugly plugs.
