I will say though when I had my F90BT, I got it pretty soon after it just came out. After a few software updates it was leagues better in functionality and use.

I wouldn't count it out entirely, maybe email Pioneer about it and see if they are working on it. I think I might look into that for a b-day present. I love the app integration.

Im not completely. 333 for a radio like that seems like a really good price. My superduty wouldnt play CDs for some reason so I never used it. I would much rather prefer my phone. That is where all the music is anyway.

Let me know if you hear of any personal experiences. I cant get it yet as I need other things first.

Yeah I saw that too. Quiet unfortunate, I love the idea. Hopefully they can improve on the execution.

Ive ran both the Clarion NX501 and Kenwood in double dinn. Overall, my Kenwood would get stuck with cd's in the tray all the time. When I finally took it back into the shop they said it was a common issue with that mechanism on a few models. The Clarion is was an amazing unit with swipe touch screen, it was sooooo slick and worked so well. This is the unit i had in my X with back up camera, was kick ***.

I think if you shop around you can find an NX501 new for around 600 though msrp is listing around 818. I didnt pay 800, i paid more around 600 myself about 1 year ago when it was just released.

Check out the double din review on R-F if you are still looking. The Pioneer 4300 looks very nice too.
