2001 f150 5.4. brakes are not releasing completely on all 4 corners. got so hot the grease seeped out of front caps. burnt smell. will repack bearings on repair. almost don't
have to use pedal to stop and have to power through to keep rolling. only thing ever done to brakes has been replacing pads and rotors with bleeding.
no dash light pertaining to brakes. have not checked for codes. thanks for help.

 

Thread from the dead, but stuck calipers. Had that happen to me on an '89 F-150. Took it to the brake shop right away. The right front rotor was glowing.
