Any advice on programming homelink? I have done several in the past with no problems but I cannot get the one on my new truck to take. Thanks!

I had the same issues with my 2011 Explorer. It took me several tries to get the garage door opener (rolling code style), but got my driveway gate in on the first try. You can contact Home Link for help, plus they have info on the their website that might be helpful. I have a gate for my community that I have not been able to get in after I had it installed and working once....not sure why I cleared them and started over, but now I'm fighting getting it back.

My parents garage door does not have the rolling code and I coud not get it to work. I have not even tried my house yet. I was about ready to throw the opener earlier though!

Sure you are completing all of the steps? Some door openers are not compatible so that might be it too.

Well I had it programmed on my Tundra and my Ram. I would they it should work with this truck. I can never get it to flash at a different rate like the manual said it should. I can hold the outer buttons down and it will eventually flash. I tried immediately programming it after that with no success. I also tried holding down the homelink button while pointing the remote at the visor and holding down the button on that and I could not get it to program. My last two trucks, I could just point the remote at the homelink and hold down the button I wanted programmed and it would work.

Do you have a smart button on the door opener? If so, try that instead of using the remote.
