1988 F150. Lighting issue. no tail/running nor dash lights. Here's what I cannot explain. When I pull the **** to park light position: nothing. Pull to headlight position: chime dings once, headlights come on, but no tail/running lights. Push **** in halfway betwteen running light position and headlight position: headlights go out and tail/running and dash lights come on. The chime dings repeatedly until you close the door. Obviously fuses are good. I put 3 brand new headlight switches in last night. Same reasction with all 3 switches. I cannot find anyone with this particular issue that has found an answer. I just bought this truck Jan 25,2022. I'm stumped and i can usually find these types of issues and fix them. I am completely baffled.
