Question plz help

I own an 88 F150 Xlt Lariate 5l fuel injected, idles fine farts, sputters and stalls when stepping on gas. replaced plugs wires cap and rotor, has electric fuel pump where fuel filter is normally located. duel tank so cant be filter problem. looking for answers to my problem anything would be apreciated. not big fan of fuel injection (EFI Ignorant)

I would suspect that you have a fuel pressure problem Either a clogged filter, pressure regulator is bad or your pump needs to be replaced.

Replace the fuel filter - its cheap. If that doesn't help, then you're probably right about the pump and that should be replaced if the pressure regulator is okay.

Are the pumps in the tanks working, many times one or both have failed. They have to get the gas to the next pump also. The electric pump is a great pusher pump, not so good at sucking the fuel into it. Needs the pumps in the tank to suply it so it can boost up the PSI. See if each pump is supply fuel to it.
