Angry 93 Ford F150 no ignition

Hi all,

I need some help I'm running out of ideas. My 93 Ford F150 XLT 5.8L (351) cranks but will not start (no spark). I have taken the coil and the ignition control module up to Auto Zone and both were tested and passed. The whole distributor is only two months old as are the spark plugs and spark plug wires.

In a no spark condition what else could possibly be the cause?

Check the ground strap to the motor.

many things so lets start at the coil, it has 2 wire connection, with a 12v test light turn the key on 1 side of the coil will be hot, if no hot wires then you need to check ignition switch, its located on the steering column under the dash, probably melted. so if you have a hot wire turn key off to see if test light goes off, did it? then you have power to the coil, now the other wire on the coil test it with 12v test light and crank engine, does the light flicker? that means the tfi module is good, stator is bad, stator is inside dist. does the distributor trun when you rank the engine? timing chain might be broken
