Hello everyone!

First off I'm new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself as a possible F150 buyer here soon!

I do have a question and am seeking advice before purchasing. I'm looking at getting a used 4 door crew cab F150 here in the coming months. Most likely a 2009 or newer model. Both the 5.5' and 6.5' bed lengths are options for me as well as either the ecoboost engine and 5.0 engine.

My main concern is how well do the engines, body, suspension, undercarriage, etc hold up to high mileage? I'm talking say 150,000 to 250,000 miles of mostly highway driving? Some of the F150's I've been seeing have excessive miles for the year models and I don't want to get something that is going to fall to pieces a year or two later. Obviously I know previous maintenance makes a huge difference in this category so I take that in to consideration.

All of this is important to me as I have two Subaru outbacks that have 300,000 (2001) and 141,000 (2002) respectively as I take care of my cars and run them till the absolute last breath.
