Just purchased this 93 F-150, 5.0 auto with 114,00 miles last week. One time it did this surging while at a stop light, RPM's go up then quickly slow down until it almost dies. Now three days later it will not run unless I am on the gas keeping it running. Check engine light is now on. I'm afraid to drive it the 10 miles to get the codes checked. Any ideas? Am I the only person that has ever had this problem?
