I have a 99 f-150 and the front driverside turn signal does not work. When I put the left turn signal on it blinks fast like there is a blown bulb but the bulb is fine. I work at a ford dealership and the mechanics told me that the wires in the multifunction switch are to short an if you tilt the steering wheel the wires will pull out. I have checke the wires and they all seem fine. I thought I may have a damaged wire between the switch and the bulb but now there is a buzzing sound when I put on the left turn signal. Anybody have any idea what's going on?

 

Try checking your flasher module. It should be on the fuse block.

 

Thanks it was my flasher making buzzing sound but left front turn signal still does not work. The indicator light in the instrument cluster doesn't flash either yet the rear blinker works fine.
