Has anyone put a chip from performance chips direct .com and if so is it worth trying?

 

All the chips does is to change your IAT setting to fool the ECM that the air is cooler. This then changes the fuel delivery, timing and spark. This can also be done on most vehicles by putting in a cooler thermostat and running a one or two setting cooler spark plugs. I haven't heard anything positive or negative on this particular chip, but I did have a Edge Performance Evolution and loved it. You could adjust for several pre-canned tunes, or adjust for your own custom one and keep an eye on several engine points while driving.

 

I recommend a tuner over a chip.
