Ok so i got a question and i would like some advice please.
I've always been a car or suv 4x4 driver never a truck so the truck thing is all new to me.

I am looking at buying this 06 F150 fx4, me and the guy have been back and fourth through email and this is the break down. He is asking $6300 it has 191k on it, he does say it needs a windshield and it has a few dings but nothing major just a few parking door dings. But this is the bit that seems a little strange. He states he just had new plugs, coil injectors and oil change done. He says that the new injectors put in make a audible clicking noise when standing in front of the truck and the Phasers have around 40,000kms left on them (not sure what that means).
He says he has the receipts for the work done and i know being only $6300 i shouldn't expect too much but i just don't want to buy something now and have to replace the engine in a few months when i could just save the $6300 put another 2k in a few months and buy a truck a little better.

Is this worth it?

it also has trailer package and dvd player and all that stuff that the FX4 comes with.

Buying anything used and high mileage is always a gamble. You can check on value at Kelly Blue Book. The cam phaser's can be replaced by yourself if you have mechanical skills, but you may want to get a quote from the dealer or a local shop on how much it would cost and use that also help you in making they buy or not buy decision. The cam phaser's may have 40,000 miles left on them or not...another gamble.
